Best done by soaking the cinnamon sticks in hot water to make them more flexible. Then lots of hot glue.
These are done with crayon fragments, melted in a heart-shaped pan. Any shape of pan will do. Let them cool and put them in the freezer to unmold them.
These are design your own ornaments from a craft store with crayon fragments in them, melted with a blow-dryer and swirled.
