February round up and planning for March

So here we are, 1/6 of the way through the year.

February:
Movies watched, 9 for the year:
Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure--entertaining
Wanted--a fast thrill ride and I love James McAvoy
Galaxy Quest--always a good call
Alvin and the Chipmunks--entertaining, I asked little of this
Austin Powers: The Spy who shagged me--dreadful, absolutely dreadful

Books read, 8 for the year:
World War Z--this is a master class in character creation, arc plotting and voice
Wild Hunt--my own for editing purposes
Red as Blood--Still a classic. Hit the tropes before they were cliches
The Two Towers--Tolkien can go ON. This suffers from Middle Book-itis and drags.

Gym attended: 9 days (out of 20, boo)
Fitness goals: 5 miles on bicycle in 30 minutes, 1.5 miles on treadmill in 30 minutes, 15 minutes on elliptical. Met, if painfully.

Writing: some added to Mystery of the Monkey God. "A Fool's Taj Mahal" finished for Patreon

March:

Gym: attend 17 days (all I work)
20 minutes on elliptical
1.75 miles in 30 minutes
7 miles in 30 minutes
increase reps on all weights up to 50.

Read
The Intervention
The Metaconcert
Jack the Bodiless
Diamond Mask

Movies:
Watch next four in folder, starting with Australia

Writing:
Come up with story for April
Add 10K more to Mystery of the Monkey God, take it to 33K

Nearly a month

February has been exhausting.

I'm on a three-tier run. My bus pulls out at 5:55 for a high school run. Then junior high and then elementary. I clock out at 9:20, and back in at 1:20 and work until 5:15.

I didn't meet my gym attendance goal. But, I may have met my fitness goals. This week is the testing.

We got Jon a car so he can job hunt and go to school. The payment and insurance aren't awful. It's a 2014 Focus, with about 100K on it.

Olivia cut my hair today. It looks very good. This is the first time I've seen Nick looking back from the mirror rather than something in-betweenish

Oli and I started the garden today, since the waxing Moon was in Cancer. It moves into fiery Leo until the Full on the First and that's not good for much of anything. And not much should be planted on a Full Moon, even a Virgo full.
We have
Ancho peppers
Cucumbers
tomatoes
cauliflower
broccol
zucchini
pumpkin
watermelon
acorn squash
chives
parsley
basil

Some of the rest--lettuces, spinach--has to be sown straight into the dirt.

Otherwise, it's been work work work.
