[Religious] A Dedication

Last Monday, we threw the kids in the car and went out to Trees.

E. has a Ouija board. It was her grandmother's and she uses it to talk to her dad.
She and M were playing with it. They had a nice chat with a dead guy named Dean (cancer, in his 70s) and then they got an unfriendly. When they hung up, it came to visit. M manifested scratches, Oli had a schizophrenic relapse and both she and E started their periods in sync, but off the cycle.

So, out to the woods for a cleansing and dedication.
The kids got shed of the beastie.
Then we did a guided meditation, in which they encountered their deity,
I laid the Charm of the Seven Paters on them

Then they dedicated themselves to walk a pagan path and learn their faith.
I dedicated myself to Hermes and Hera, and made an understanding with Loki.

In the days since, the Hera Candle melted. It was first used to cast a binding and has come into play several times. I take its melting away as a sign that phase of my devotions are over.

"let my friends be my friends.
Let my enemies be my enemies.
Let strangers remain strangers until they are revealed for one or the other."

Welcome

It's going to be a long strange trip. And possibly an unpleasant one now and then.
But there will be laughs and good companions, too.

This blog will chronicle my transition to manhood, my progress on my pagan path and my changes in writing and publishing.

So join me for it, won't you?
